Director of Operations
The Director of Operations plays a key leadership role in overseeing daily operations, managing teams, and ensuring organizational standards are met across multiple locations. This role is ideal for experienced operations leaders who thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment and want to make an impact on workflow efficiency, staff development, and overall quality of care.
What You’ll Do
- Define, implement, and improve operational protocols and workflows.
- Partner with department managers to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Act as a liaison between staff, managers, and executive leadership.
- Oversee hiring, onboarding, training, and performance evaluations in collaboration with HR.
- Set staff retention goals and monitor progress with territory managers.
- Approve work schedules, paid time off, and payroll submissions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and healthcare regulations.
- Provide guidance to staff and managers in resolving operational or client-related issues.
- Partner with finance to review budgets, monitor expenses, and track productivity.
- Manage resources including staff allocation, equipment, and fleet.
- Support client service functions, including dispatch, order intake, and quality control.
- Review productivity standards, develop improvement plans, and coach employees for success.
- Address customer service concerns and support client retention initiatives.
- Collaborate with account executives and leadership on service quality and turnaround times.
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in healthcare operations preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in operations with 5+ years in management.
- Background in healthcare operations strongly preferred.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of industry regulations, performance metrics, and CRM systems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data analysis tools.
- Proven ability to drive productivity, profitability, and team development.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
