Dentist – General Practice
We’re hiring an experienced General Dentist to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative, team-based environment. This role involves direct patient care, preventive education, treatment planning, and clinical leadership within a busy dental clinic setting.
About the Role
As a General Dentist, you’ll be responsible for diagnosing and treating dental conditions, performing routine exams and procedures, and promoting oral health through patient education. You’ll collaborate with dental assistants, hygienists, and support staff to deliver comprehensive care while maintaining accurate clinical documentation and upholding established clinical protocols.
What You’ll Do
Perform patient examinations and obtain detailed dental histories
Diagnose oral health conditions and formulate appropriate treatment plans
Provide general dental care, including restorations, extractions, and preventative procedures
Administer anesthetics and prescribe appropriate medications when necessary
Supervise dental assistants and hygienists during clinical procedures when requested
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care
Document findings, diagnoses, and treatments in the electronic health record system
Participate in peer reviews, clinical trainings, and quality improvement initiatives
Assist in the development and refinement of clinical protocols and workflows
Respond to patient concerns and contribute to maintaining a positive care environment
What You’ll Need
DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school
Active state dental license (required)
DEA license and current CPR certification
Experience in general dentistry; residency training preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to manage both clinical and administrative responsibilities
Basic computer proficiency and experience with electronic dental records
Commitment to patient care, safety, and professional development
