What You’ll Do
- Conduct patient assessments, physical exams, and health histories
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including X-rays, EKGs, and labs
- Perform procedures such as wound care, suturing, injections, and immunizations
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on clinical findings
- Counsel patients on health maintenance, condition management, and follow-up care
- Document patient encounters in a timely and accurate manner using EMR systems
- Collaborate with physicians and clinic leadership to support quality improvement initiatives
- Maintain compliance with clinical protocols, regulatory standards, and company policies
- Contribute to staff education and training, and serve as a clinical resource within the team
What You’ll Need
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program (Master’s level)
- Current state licensure as a Physician Assistant
- NCCPA certification (PANCE)
- Active DEA license or eligibility to obtain
- At least one year of experience in occupational medicine, urgent care, or emergency medicine preferred
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and standard outpatient procedures
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary care team
- Commitment to providing patient-focused care in a high-volume clinic environment
